With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it is only fitting that we shine the VIP-DC spotlight on one of our favorite restaurants, Co Co Sala. Located in DC’s Penn Quarter at 929 F Street NW, Co Co Sala is a perfect starting point for any successful date night. When you enter through the frosted glass doors you are immediately immersed in a sensual environment filled with stylish, chic décor accented by deep reds and browns. The lighting is soft and the music is relaxing, yet upbeat. At 10pm a DJ plays house music and the restaurant transforms into a relaxing lounge featuring delicious deserts and drinks surrounded by a comfortable social environment.

Co Co Sala began with a conceptual idea of an upscale pastry boutique and has transformed into one of DC’s most unique restaurants featuring delicious small plates, deserts and drinks using chocolate infusions and delectable cheeses. Don’t be shy; ask your server what to order! Typical orders would include two or three small plate dishes and, of course, desert. The menu is very diverse and offers different tastes to satisfy everyone. Our favorite item on the menu is the bacon macaroni and cheese, which is served with a chocolate dipped piece of bacon garnishing the dish. It is important to note that all of the chocolates at Co Co Sala are hand-made on site! The drinks are creative and tasty as well. We suggest checking out the “Co Co Jito,” which is the Co Co Sala version of the mojito.

Co Co Sala’s goal is to transport its guests to a chocolate, treasure-like oasis where they can experience and feel the passion that is the premise of Co Co Sala.
